Michigan beats Ohio State in Overtime

Tim Hardaway Jr. brought Michigan back with a relentless streak of 3-point shooting and blocked a shot by Araron Craft in the final seconds of overtime, giving the No. 3 Michigan an thrilling 76-74 win over their rival and the No. 10 Ohio State on Tuesday night.

Ohio State's Aaron Craft's last two shots were blocked - one by Trey Burke and the next by Hardaway right under the basket.

After scoring at will most of the second half, Ohio State (17-5, 7-3 Big Ten) managed to score only two points in overtime.

Hardaway finished with 23 points, including five consecutive 3-pointers during the second half. Burke missed a 3-pointer at the end of regulations, which would have gave Michigan the win. However Burke's 3 at the start of overtime made it 75-72, and neither team scored until Craft's driving layup with just under a minute to play.

Craft then stole the ball from Burke, but he hustled back to prevent an easy basket. The ball went out of bounds to Ohio State.

While Craft attempted a shot from behind the free throw line, Michigan's Glenn Robinson III was fouled and went to the line. He split the pair, making one of two free throws; giving Michigan a two point lead.

Craft rushed the ball into the frontcourt, trying to drive past Burke ,but then found Hardaway in his way who blocked his shot that gave Michigan the win.

Deshaun Thomas lead the Buckeyes in scoring with 17 points.

Michigan and Ohio State were meeting for the first time with both teams ranked in the top ten. The Buckeyes gave the Wolverines their first lost of the season last month. Michigan was ranked No.1 in the country before a lost Saturday night in Indiana who advanced to holding the No.1 seed.
