Did Ma$e Call Out Diddy On Instagram?

Yesterday DJ Khaled released the track “I Feel Like Pac / I Feel Like Biggie” from his upcoming album Suffering From Success. The track features Meek Mill, Rick Ross, T.I., Swizz Beatz, and the original Bad Boy Diddy, who was the closet person to the late Notorious B.I.G.

 After the release of the track, Ma$e, another member of the orginal Bad Boy Records, posted a picture of Biggie on Instagram with the caption “Ni**as sold u out BIG. I hate the way your legacy has been watered down. I don’t have to be from BK. Let him rest. #respect”.

It seems as if Ma$e was sending an subliminal message to Diddy, or maybe he was a little upset and in his feelings about not being a part of the record but who knows.

Crenshaw rapper Nipsey Hussle has released his highly anticipated mixtape Crenshaw. The mixtape features single "Checc Me Out" featuring Dom Kennedy and Cobby Supreme. Lauryn Hill Released From Prison & Releases "Consumerism"

This is exciting news for most fans; Lauryn Hill was released from prison earlier today. The ex-Fugees singer was convicted on failure to pay taxes and was sentenced to 3 months in jail.

To celebrate her release from prison, the singer released a new track for her fans titled “Consumerism” which will be featured on her upcoming project Letters From Exile. Along with the new record, there was a message from Lauryn via her personal Tumblr to talk more about the track:

"Consumerism is part of some material I was trying to finish before I had to come in. We did our best to eek out a mix via verbal and emailed direction, thanks to the crew of surrogate ears on the other side. Letters From Exile is material written from a certain space, in a certain place. I felt the need to discuss the underlying socio-political, cultural paradigm as I saw it. I haven’t been able to watch the news too much recently, so I’m not hip on everything going on. But inspiration of this sort is a kind of news in and of itself, and often times contains an urgency that precedes what happens. I couldn’t imagine it not being relevant. Messages like these I imagine find their audience, or their audience finds them, like water seeking it’s level."

Brooklyn Nets Coach Jason Kidd Suspended for 2 Games

The 2013-2014 NBA season has yet to start and the newly signed coach of the Brooklyn Nets, Jason Kidd has already been suspended for 2 games.

Kidd, 40, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor of driving while ability impaired in July and placed on probation for a year after he smashed his SUV into a utility pole in Southampton, New York in July of 2012.

The league requires suspension for two games, also his probation includes community service, and speaking to students in Long Island about the risks and dangers of drinking and driving.

Kidd will miss the team’s season opener on October 30 in Cleveland against the Cavilers along with their home-opener on November 1 against the Miami Heat. He will make his coaching debut November 3 in Orlando.

Lead assistant coach Lawrence Frank will likely serve as the head coach of the team until Kidd's suspension ends.

After the release of her debut album Rebellious Soul, singer K. Michelle is preparing for a 18-city tour with one of R&B new faces, Sevyn Streeter.

The month-long tour is sponsored by BET Music Matter and will start November 4 in San Francisco, California while making stops in all major cities including NY, ATL and LA.
