During an NBA All-Star Weekend performance this weekend in
New Orleans, Drake mentioned the release date of Lil Wayne’s highly anticipated
album Tha Carter V. The album will
come almost three years after the release of Tha Carter IV which went No.1 on the Billboard 200 and selling
964,000 copies in its first week. The album is expected to be released on May 5.
According to a conversation with Drake and hip-hop mogul Karen Civil, the project is already 6/8 songs in.
