Beyonce Becomes First Female with Five No. 1 Albums

Name someone hotter than Bey? I'll wait for it...King Bey has done it again! With the surprise release of her self-titled album last week, today Billboard has announced that Beyonce is the first female artist to hit No. 1 with her first five studio albums.

After the break-up of Destiny's Child, Bey began her solo career in 2003 with the release of her debut album Dangerously In Love and from there she put out hit after hit with B'Day (2006), I Am...Sasha Fierce (2008), 4 (2011) and now including Beyonce (2013). There has only been two other people who have broken this record. The other two artist with their first five albums to debut at No. 1 on the charts are DMX and Kingston Trio.

Beyonce is made up of 14 tracks and 17 visuals. The album can be purchased online on iTunes and physical copies will be available in stores tomorrow (Dec 20) but not Target.
