JoJo Signs New Deal with Atlantic Records
After seven years of a long legal battle with her label, R&B singer JoJo has finally been released from her contract with Blackground Records. JoJo last album The High Road was released in 2006, since then she has made efforts to please her fans by releasing mixtapes and song covers of hit songs.
The Los Angeles Times reports that she had signed a new deal with Atlantic Records in December. JoJo is currently working on her new album which is set to be released later this year under her new deal. In addition to her new musical venture, JoJo stars in the high school comedy G.B.F., which hits theaters Friday.
