Producer Scott Storch is back in headlines after being the
victim of a robbery. According to TMZ, he was allegedly robbed at gun point
early Tuesday morning (August 20), while leaving the New York Palace hotel on
Madison Ave. Storch filed a police report later that day in the city stating
that he was approached by two armed men.
It is reported that the gunman stole a briefcase filled with
$5,000 in cash, along with several pieces of jewelry worth about $100,000. The
report states that the driver of the SUV was told to hand over the keys, after
Storch was told to “give [them] all his jewelry and cash or he was dead.”
Many may remember last year when he was arrested in Las
Vegas for possession of cocaine. During half of the early 2000's Storch legal
troubles consisted of grand theft auto charge, missed child support payments
and filling for bankruptcy.
The famed producer is known for hits such as “Lean Back” by
Fat Joe and “Still D.R.E.” by Dr. Dre. Throughout his career he has worked with
several artist such as Beyonce, 50 Cent, The Game, Chris Brown, Nas, Christina Aguilera,
Pink and more.
